Tropicana Hotel and Casino Las Vegas’ Tropicana needed solar heat control to limit the amount of heat that came through and captured in the Southwest-facing three-sided glass elevator.

SeriousGlass, in bronze allowed the hotel to keep visible light transmission high while providing the a low shading coefficient. The resulting interior coolness led to additional glass installed overhead and in the Tropicana II Ballroom.

Bottom line: Reduced energy costs, maximized light transmission, increased occupant comfort. We have a winner.
