The challenge in building the Virginia Air & Space Center was to maximize northern daylight and minimize southern and western afternoon heat.

The solutions was SeriousGlass that fully-tuned the windows with a mix of high and low solar-heat gain films and high UV blockage properties at appropriate locations throughout the building, saving long term cooling and heating costs.
