Objective: Respond to parent’s complaints of student discomfort resulting from extreme direct sunlight and poor solar control of existing glass.

Serious Solution: Parents of Mark Hopkins Elementary School banded together to provide the funds for replacing glass given extreme indoor heat and discomfort resulting from direct afternoon sunlight. SeriousGlass was chosen to provide super-solar control, 99.5% UV blockage, and super-insulation, using a grey tinted solar control film and clear glass.
